certainly,表示肯定。

- 你当然不会忘记这个日期,对不? You certainly won't forget the date, will you?应该指出,certainly的语气较of course强。of course 的原义有”那还用说“的意思,如果用来代替certainly,有时会显得不够谦虚。如:
