【英】Zhong (Bell)
打击类金属体鸣乐器。本为中国古代雅乐的主要乐器,后因其笨重,民间很少流传,在宫廷乐队中也逐渐淘汰。
A metal percussion idiophone. These were the main instruments for yayue (a type of traditional music) in ancient China. Later this instrument fell out of popularity because it was too heavy. This instrument was not popular in folk society and gradually abandoned even by royal court bands.
