灰色收入

“灰色收入”指工资单（payroll）上没有，甚至账面上（accounts book）也查不出的收入。当然这些收入逃避缴纳个人所得税（dodge personal income tax）。有报道说，中国这种游离于统计数据之外的（dissociated from statistics）隐性收入（invisible income）正高速增长，已高达5.4万亿元。与此同时，许多人非但没有“灰色收入”，反而有不少“灰色负收入（negative grey income）”，主要指不得不送礼和应酬（social engagement）的开支，因为这些开支往往是家庭开支计划之外的，有时简直是无底洞（bottomless pit）。
纪检部门（discipline inspection department）三番五次大力清理的所谓一些单位征收的名目繁多的（too numerous to be named）费用也是灰色的，不开正式单据，单独立账。这种“灰色收入”往往进入小金库（small exchequer），供有关人员报销乱七八糟的开支，或者作为福利分给本部门的职工。
