阿阇世王授决经
【英】Sutra of Buddha’s Giving Prediction to Ajatashatru
佛教经典，谓阿阇世王以灯供佛，灯虽有人看管，但或灭或尽；又令园监采花，以备供佛。但未能获得佛之授记。后阿阇世王诚心斋戒，至心至诚，佛显身为其授记，八万劫后当得成佛。
A Buddhist classic, saying Ajatashatru served the Buddha by lighting oil lamps, but some of the oil lamps went quenched or ran out of oil though they were well nursed. Then Ajatashatru asked the garden keeper to pick up some flowers to serve the Buddha, but he still couldn’t get Buddha’s prediction. Since then on, Ajatashatru followed the rules of purification with an utmost mind, and Buddha showed his supernatural power to give Ajatashatru the prediction that he would get enlightened after 80,000 Kalpas(epochs).
