民间故事说,有人把银子埋在地里,上面写了个‘此地无银三百两’的字牌;邻居李四看到字牌,挖出银子,在字牌的另一面写上‘对门李四未曾偷’。比喻打出的幌子正好暴露了所要掩饰的内容。 {The folk tale goes that a man buried a jar of silver underground and he placed a sign on the site saying:
‘300 taels of silver are not buried here.’ His neighbour Li Si saw the sign, dug out the silver, and wrote on the other side:

- ‘Your neighbour Li Si did not steal them.’ The phrase is figuratively used to mean the backfiring of a cover-up.}
